In 2014, Mainstay Housing engaged Evergreen to adapt our existing Healthy Choices curriculum into a food literacy and community kitchen project. The project equips tenant members with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make healthy food choices that are inexpensive and culturally relevant. It’s the first step in taking control of their own - and their community’s - food security and nutritional health.
