Building vocabulary comes most naturally through life experiences as individuals learn new words needed to navigate work, school, and daily life. However, vocabulary acquisition can be effectively supported through engaging in online puzzles and games.
These tools supplement context clue skill development and reinforce spelling and recall, adding a fun and meaningful element to your lesson plans. Some of the online vocabulary puzzles and games to be covered will include Wordle, Quordle, Blossom, Scrabble, and word searches.
This webinar focuses on supporting vocabulary development for ESOL learners (primarily levels 3, 4, and 5) as well as ABE/GED students. Participants will leave with a variety of immediately implementable activities designed to boost student vocabulary acquisition.
