(3 Oct 1994) US troops raided the headquarters of Haiti's main paramilitary
group on Monday (3/10). Soldiers surrounded the premises of the
Front for the Advancement and Progress in Haiti (FRAPH) with
tanks. They disarmed Haitian police who had also been called to
the scene, pinning them to the ground and handcuffing them. US
soldiers also emptied bullets from the captive policemens'
pistols.
