Описание: Japan has 10 national political parties, and in this video, we’ll review each party's brief history, political values, and policy objectives. The aim is to better understand the political actors shaping Japanese politics.

This video aims to provide a simplified overview of the ten national political parties in Japan. I fully acknowledge that both the history and policy positions have been condensed for clarity. This video focuses only on officially recognized national parties. To qualify as a national party in Japan, a political group must either (1) receive at least 2% of the national vote in the most recent election or (2) have at least five members in the Diet. Once a party meets this threshold, it becomes eligible for public funding.

All information was retrieved from party websites or major news sources. Some parties had recent manifestos, while for others, I had to dig further back to find their policy positions. I apologize in advance if any policies were not fully communicated. This is my attempt to present an overview of Japan's political parties in English. I’ve done my best to remain as neutral as possible, and the intent of the video is solely educational. I also apologize in advance if there are mistakes. Enjoy the video!
