Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
On February 16, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Hieromartyr Pamphilos and his Eleven Companions, who bore witness to Christ even unto death. Their steadfast confession of the faith reminds us that the Church is built upon the courage and sacrificial love of the saints.
Today’s Scripture readings include 3 John 1:1–15 and Luke 19:29–40; 22:7–39. In the Epistle, we are exhorted to walk in the truth and support those who labor for the Gospel. In the Gospel, we journey with Christ from His triumphant entry into Jerusalem to the institution of the Mystical Supper.
