On the brink of their 125th year, unfortunately London Irish entered Administration in the offseason following the conclusion of the 2022-23 season. The Exiles gained their nickname from originally being made up of entirely Irish individuals who travelled to London (for work), this then became a community with rugby being a key common point of interest. Over the years London Irish have had a rich history in English rugby, winning the Premiership Rugby Cup (Powergen Cup) in 2009 and appearing in multiple domestic and European finals in the professional era. Following their best domestic finish since 2005, falling short in the Premiership cup final and narrowly missing out on the play offs in the Gallagher premiership, Declan Kidney's men looked to be one of the most exciting teams for the coming years. To see a young team with so much potential and strong coaching outfit go under, has lead to great disappointment across the English rugby community.

Hopefully, one day we will get to see this historic club back at the top flight competing alongside the likes of Wasps and Worcester Warriors. But for now, I hope you enjoy this video reflecting on their strong season with some of their best tries, showcasing a lot of homegrown talent.
