Our adventure has well and truly started as we face our first full day on the road, a 180km journey routing through the epic Baviaans Mega Reserve - a World Heritage Site - en route to Willowmore.The Reserve is not pet friendly but we were kindly given special permission to pass through, so this would be a first for both the pups and I.
After spending a night just outside Willowmore, the plan was to get back to the coast. Getting there meant we would pass through the town of Uniondale before taking on the incredible Prince Alfred Pass where we discovered the settlement of De Vlugt.
What a trip...
