12' Blue HCS Rod Has Cojones For Distance Casting a Daiwa 4K Saltist!

Описание: My Daiwa Saltist 4K Gets Attached to my 12ft Okuma Original Blue HCS Rod!

My hardly used Okuma 2018 12ft HCS Menpachi Rod will be UV kissed soon. I'll be attaching a 2016 Daiwa 4K Saltist w/10lb monofilament line to it. Why use a 12ft rod? For distance! The size of the Saltist 4K is more like a normal 5K so it'll be a great pairing. A striking Black & Blue combo! Ouch!

The 4K Saltist is also Mag Sealed! Perfect for salt water usage. My #1 reason for getting it. Also gear ratio of 5.7/1. Max drag is is 8kg (17.6lbs). I also added on a Gomexus Power Handle w/38mm Power Knob as well. I'll be using Soft Steel brand 10lb mono line on this reel.

Cost? There's no more original Blue Rods as the Blacks superseded that line with Black Carbon blanks & deep-pressed guide inserts. Expect to pay $160-180 for the rod & now you can get the reel for under $200 on Amazon. Just be aware that prices do fluctuate. My Achilles heel just went out so don't know when i can go out next.
