Описание: Situated in the township of Soweto in Johannesburg are the decommissioned Cooling Towers of the Orlando Power Station. Build in 1942. The station was decommissioned in 1998 after 56 years of service. In 2006 work was started to transform the site of the Power Station into an Entertainment and Business Centre. Today the towers are used for Bungee Jumping, Base Jump, Climbing and City Views from the Viewing Platform. They are an interesting land mark due to the unique artwork displayed on them, which is updated from time to time. The Towers are visible from the near by Freeway and make an interesting object to photograph.
