[4KHDR] Driving in Switzerland: Autobahn A13 E43 from Splügen to Bellinzona via San Bernardino

Описание: In this video you can drive along on the Autobahn & Autostrada A13 E43 from Splügen to Bellinzona in the East and South of Switzerland. This video features a large part of A13 that has not been built out to 2x2 profile.

Starting out in Splügen, a mountain town that the Splügen pass is named after, we drive past San Bernardino and descend down to the valley where the A13 turns into a full profile motorway again. I have driven the Splügen pass before as well, it's a beautiful high Alpine pass where snow until July is not rare.

We decided to 'pass' on the San Bernardino pass this time, although it's one of the few famous passes in Switzerland that I haven't driven yet. In summer it can be very busy and take a long time to cross and we still had to get far into Italy on this day. The A13 takes travellers through a 6.6 kilometer tunnel to the town of San Bernardino, bypassing the original pass road.
