ExciteOSA Device does it help snoring / sleep apnoea?

ExciteOSAis a device that for 20 minutes a day tones your tongue muscle so that you don’t snore during sleep. It also has an effect on sleep apnoea and day time tiredness. This oral device stops snoring, and is a way to reduce sleep apnoea without needing to wear something at night (such as a CPAP mask or a Mandibular Advancement Device). It works on a similar principle to what the Myofunctional therapists use in exercising the throat muscles (although they also help with re-education of muscles, posture, breathing etc - exercising and toning of the throat is just one part of what they do).

This review looks at the device, the smart phone application to control it, and the clinical evidence behind it.
