Here, Mr. Sonu, a Teacher and Local, tells you how a covered mound or a non-unearthed mound can offer you vast amount of knowledge about the behaviour and artistry of ancient people. These artifacts can easily be found on the surface of the mound.

राखीगढ़ी सिंधु घाटी सभ्यता हड़प्पा सभ्यता या सरस्वती सभ्यता का सबसे बड़ा स्थल है। यहां पर आपको बहुत से टीले मिल जाएंगे। वर्तमान का राखीगढ़ी भी टीलों पर बसा हुआ है। हाल के समय में गवर्नमेंट ने स्थल की खुदाई की ओर ज्यादा ध्यान देना आरंभ कर दिया है। 1997 से गांव के बाहर के टीलों पर खुदाई कभी ना कभी होती रही है। भारत सरकार ने राखीगढ़ी गांव को आईकॉनिक साइट घोषित कर रखा है और यहां एक बहुत बड़ा पुरातात्विक म्यूजियम बनाया जा रहा है।

Rakhi Garhi is world's largest Indus Valley/Harrapan/Saraswati Civilisation Site. It has many mounds. Most of present day Rakhi Garhi village is situated on mounds of Ancient City of Harrapan Civilisation. In the recent times, government of India has taken a keen interest in excavating the site. There have been some kind of excavation activities at most of the mounds outside the village periphery since 1997. This site has been declared an iconic site by Government of India and a world class Archeological Museum is being constructed here.

वीडियो में दिखाए दिखाए गए टीले पर भी खुदाई होती आ रही है। अभी हाल फिलहाल में भी वहां खुदाई हुई थी। लेकिन खुदाई के बाद साइट को ढक दिया गया।

Mound No.1 has been intermittently excavated by the Indian Archeological authorities. There was a recent excavation. However, after excavation, authorities have covered the surface.
