A Star Wars fanatic decides to sell his toy collection to keep his overbearing girlfriend happy, but an unbelievable adventure with his toys makes him realize that he doesn't need to change for anyone.

STAR WARS FAN FILM AWARDS 2015
We produced this live-action / stop-motion fan film for the 2015 Star Wars Fan Film Awards. We were honored to be selected as one of 25 Finalists featured on StarWars.com and nominated for Best Visual Effects. The awards were presented at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA on April 18th, 2015. SPECIAL EDITION 2020
Star Wars: Episode IV – A Toy Story was our very first fan film production, and after five years we felt it was finally time to make improvements that we didn't have the time or know-how to make in 2015. We used our experience from making three fan films to produce the SPECIAL EDITION. During production we used the only camera we had available at the time, the Sony NEX-VG10, which was an interchangeable lens camcorder which shot 1920x1080 video at 30p. To get a more filmic look, we converted all of the shots from 30 fps to 24 fps for the Special Edition and reframed everything from a 16:9 aspect ratio to 2.35:1. We tightened the edit and retconned a couple of story points to make this film fit in better with the rest of our fan film series Star Wars Toy Stories. We replaced all of the CGI shots of the ships during the chase scene in Act 2 with green screen photography of the screen-used toys in the opening and closing acts. We updated and augmented many of the visual effects shots, including adding facial animations for all of the action figures. Finally, we updated the color grading and sound design, and replaced the original music provided by Lucasfilm for the 2015 Star Wars Fan Film Awards with several of John Williams's tracks from Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.
