Let's take a look at the X-Tenna End Fed Random Wire antenna. Ideal as a portable POTA QRP antenna that can be used at higher power levels, it is similar to a End Fed Half Wave but intentionally not resonant on any amateur radio band. It requires an antenna matching unit to use. Through the matching unit, the EFRW can be used on all HF amateur radio bands.
Best lengths for an End Fed Random Wire antenna:
26, 29, 41,52 ,58, 71,& 119 feet
7.92, 8.83, 12.49, 15.84, 17.67, 21.64, & 36.27 meters
