Recorded circa 1965.
Little is known about this group.
Group Member Mike Cummins commented:
This was a band from Corbin, KY. The original members were Fred Rader, Vee Rader, Fred Mullins, Ivan Siler, and Mike Cummins. The band moved to Lexington, KY and changed some members. Fred Rader and Mike Cummins started the band and were the only one old enough to get in some places. Vee Rader continued the longest and was recording country music in the 80's. I'm Mike and I only was with the group for the first record, Give Me Love / Little Girl.
The Ovations released at least 2 singles on the REM Record label.
More than likely one of the members was Fred Rader.
