On a cold snowy day, snow was slowly falling on the ground, covering everything in white. Farkhunda was collecting sand so that the rain wouldn’t wash it away. She was working hard, and her worries were growing every moment. Reza, Farkhunda’s husband, who had gone to work on the car, decided to buy a few bags of cement to help them get their work done.
When Reza returned with the cement, they both got to work. Their efforts and cooperation in these difficult circumstances showed their strong determination and will. Suddenly, Mehri, one of Farkhunda’s close friends, approached them and anxiously asked Reza to tell Hossein to throw the woman they found in the mountains out of their house.
This request made Farkhunda angry. She said loudly, “How can you ask Hossein to throw that woman out, where can she go in this cold and snow?” Farkhunda, with all sincerity, wanted to remind Mehri that humanity is more important than any other issue.
