2029 Elections Update: Amit Shah to Akhilesh Yadav: “No Need to Worry”

Описание: Amit Shah announced in Parliament that the government, led by Narendra Modi, will conduct a caste census in the next population count.

He clarified that caste details will be included during the census process. Addressing concerns about increasing Lok Sabha seats to 850, he explained that this is to ensure 33% women reservation without reducing general seats.

Amit Shah also assured that the Delimitation Commission Act has not changed, and any new seat arrangement will only be लागू after Parliament approval and the President’s assent.

He confirmed that all elections till 2029 will happen on current seats and told leaders like Akhilesh Yadav not to worry.

Rejecting allegations, he said that no one can end democracy in India and reminded that people rejected such attempts during the The Emergency.
