Farewell to the Jet2 Boeing 757s! - Jet2 Boeing 757 compilation

Описание: Not exactly the best way to start off the year of 2025 but it had to happen eventually. Sadly, its the end of an era as there are now no longer any British airlines that operate passenger configured Boeing 757s, as the final British airline to operate passenger 757s, Jet2, has stopped operating their fleet of 757s in favour of the newer Airbus A321neo. Today (Sunday 5th January 2025), Jet2 operated its last ever passenger flight with their Boeing 757! The 757 that operated the final flight was G-LSAI, & the final flight was from Geneva in Switzerland to Manchester in England. The aircraft is scheduled to fly one last time on Wednesday 8th January 2025 from Manchester to St Athan Airport in Wales to be scrapped.

On a bit of a personal note, I sadly didn't get to fly onboard a Jet2 Boeing 757, nor will I ever now, but over the last few years I have been lucky enough to have caught a few of them during a few spotting trips to Manchester Airport, so I decided to make this compilation video of all my clips of Jet2 757s.

Apologies that the quality of the video isn't exactly the best. My videos from a few years ago didn't exactly have the best quality.
