YSTUDIO Classic Revolve - Portable Fountain Pen Unboxing in Taiwan

Описание: It’s a new pen day! I was really surprised to get this fountain pen as a gift. This is the YSTUDIO Classic Revolve - Portable Fountain Pen.

The company. YSTUDIO is a company based in Taiwan & the Classic Revolve is their main series of pens. The pens have a unique hexagon shape & are made of brass. The Portable Fountain Pen is the smallest of the three models. They also have the Desk Fountain Pen, for your desk only, and another model simply called the Fountain Pen. The company believes that each object embodies a deeper meaning & hopes to bring people more imagination in their lives.

Why portable? I watched several YouTube videos about different YSTUDIO fountain pens. When it came to the Portable Fountain Pen, many commented that a pen is already portable, which is true. I believe the company has a deeper meaning by using the word portable. Their Desk Fountain Pen is made to be used on a desk only, and there is no cap for it. Their Fountain Pen is slightly larger than the Portable Fountain Pen, and the cap has no hole for a rope. The Portable Fountain Pen was intended to be carried in unique ways, such as around your neck or hanging on a bag. The black color maple pen case has a threaded cap helping to secure the pen while it is hanging from your bag. I'll need to try different ways of carrying this pen, as I'm used to having a clip.

My story. About a week before getting the YSTUDIO pen, I saw the MUJI Round Body Aluminum Fountain Pen in a store. I was planning on getting that pen during the next MUJI sale. Fortunately for me, I was given this lovely YSTUDIO pen. This is what happened. It was a lovely Saturday afternoon, and I was having coffee with my wife and friends in Taipei City. I proudly brought out my new MUJI Polycarbonate Fountain pen and my friend tried it out. He said that it writes very smoothly but was too lightweight. He prefers a pen with some weight to it and went online to show me the pen that he has. Suddenly, he remembered that he has a spare one that YSTUDIO sent him. He wasn’t using it and offered to give it to me the next time we met up. I was so excited, as I never expected to be given such a nice pen! This pen is quite a jump up from my entry level MUJI pen. I went home and started to do some research about the pen and the company. Then, I made a post on Facebook about which pen I should unbox next. I guess my friend saw that post and decided to send the pen to me right away. So, here we are.
