We've had kids come into our home though the foster care system for a large variety of reasons. In fact the kids from hard places who have entered our home have come in for every reason we list.

There have been moments in this foster care journey and adoption story that all I wanted was adoption from foster care. However, especially as a single dad, I've seen the great need for trauma informed foster parents and wanted to provide connected parenting and trauma informed care to foster kids regardless of the reason why these kids have entered the foster care system.
