Описание: La baia di Marina Piccola è delimitata da Punta San Francesco e dal centro storico medioevale da un lato, da punta Santa Croce e il borgo ottocentesco dall’altro, mentre l’isolotto di Santa Eufemia, con il suo faro, chiude parzialmente la baia.
Marina Piccola è stata per molti secoli il porticciolo della città, appena fuori le mura, con le barche adagiate sulla sabbia ma pronte ad essere portate, in caso di mareggiata, al riparo tra le mura della città nella “piazza del fosso”. Attualmente ospita una graziosa villetta comunale con palme e vista spettacolare a ridosso della spiaggetta, ideale per far scorrazzare i bambini mentre si gusta un gelato.

The bay of Marina Piccola is bordered by Punta San Francesco and the medieval historic center on one side, by Punta Santa Croce and the nineteenth-century village on the other, while the islet of Santa Eufemia, with its lighthouse, partially closes the bay.
Marina Piccola was for many centuries the small port of the city, just outside the walls, with the boats lying on the sand but ready to be taken, in the event of a storm, to the shelter of the city walls in the "square of the ditch". It currently houses a charming municipal villa with palm trees and a spectacular view close to the beach, ideal for letting children run around while enjoying an ice cream.
