We start the series with Leonardo because, well, he's the leader. I know that in recent TMNT they have made Raph the leader but it seems to me that team has no leader and they were not raised by the bushido code. Splinter should have been harder on them, that's all. I'm not hating on Raph either, he was always my favourite, like me he's the rebel loner type and plus both our names star with R, as well as the word, rant.
