Driving without legs may seem improbable. But Babatunde Kewejo keeps pushing himself and others to prove that amputees are not a burden to anyone.
Babatunde came up with a unique solution to help him drive his taxi around the Nigerian city of Ibadan. His legs were amputated when he was 7, one of the many polio victims in Nigeria before mass vaccinations finally stopped the spread of the crippling disease.
Babatunde went on to graduate from university and become a champion para table tennis player, but he still could not get a job.
So he put his sporting prize money into a 2001 Toyota Corolla and designed 2 gadgets to allow him to drive the car safely.
The 39-year-old has solved his mobility issues and can provide income to help himself, his wife, and two children.
