Molex Quasar OptiX OSP Outside Plant Fiber Optic cables are designed with the operator in mind. They feature a revolutionary design of single armor, single jacket fiber optic cable that uses materials to improve bend radius and are easy for the technician to handle. For use in buried or aerial applications in outside plant environments, these cables speed up the splicing and termination process, help reduce injury and include distinctive orange stripes that make them easy-to-identify. The five layers of water protection along with a blocking agent between the jacket and the shield stop water intrusion. With temperature ratings up to -40° C, the cables include buffer tubes consisting of polymers that make them bend resistant, enabling them to facilitate any type of application or installation method.
