In contrast, others are not worth it and so are assisted with committing suicide.

Many will claim to be advocates for human equality, but how many truly believe in it? Moreover, a question worth asking: Does your worldview make sense of intrinsic moral value? What makes human beings intrinsically valuable? As Dr. Weikart quoted from Harari in this clip, there is simply no room for human equality given naturalism and Darwinian evolution. On such a view, you are nothing more than a piece in the evolutionary cycle to be used for the future product of natural selection, nothing more. Not only is this incredibly depressing, but it goes against our intuition about human beings and how we all treat one another! A much better explanation is that human beings were made in the image of the Creator (Genesis 1:26-27; James 3:9), and with this status comes intrinsic moral value for ALL human beings—independent of race, religious belief, gender, political position, physical makeup, cognitive abilities, or anything else! You matter simply because you are a human being, made in the image of God.
