Congratulations to Gold's Gym, Venice Beach, on 60 years since its founding. Here's a video we proudly made in 2015, profiling the gym, its staff and community, to celebrate its 50th anniversary. We think it captures the true magic and special place the original Gold's has in the hearts of lifters.
Gold's Gym Venice is the best gym in the world, and 2015 was its 50th year. To mark the anniversary, Fit Media Channel was invited to film a Day in the Life of the gym - starting at opening time, through to lights out.
Across the day, we met all kinds of people, from IFBB Pro's to tourists and first timers, from young staff members, to old-timers from the Classic age of bodybuilding - all bought together in the same place by a shared passion for training, inspired by Gold's, the Mecca of Bodybuilding.
