Today was a truly lucky day for Coastal Foraging! I went out to the shoreline as the tide was going out to see what hidden treasures I could find among the rocks and mud. The variety of life today was just amazing.
I started my journey by searching deep in the rocky crevices and was thrilled to find a beautiful Lobster 🦞! Right nearby, I spotted a bright Green Moray Eel 🐍 peeking out from its cave—it looked a bit scary but very cool. As I moved toward the wetter areas, I saw a fast Mudskipper 🐟 jumping on the mud and a clever Octopus 🐙 trying to hide in a small pool.
The surprises didn't stop there! I also found a tiny Mini Squid 🦑 swimming in the clear water and a strong Stone Crab 🦀 tucked under a ledge. To finish the day, I gathered a spiky Sea Urchin 🦔 from a tide pool. It is always so much fun to see how many different creatures live right at the edge of the ocean.
