To run it, you first need to install OpenCV 3.x, then clone the repository and compile the code.
Here is a short tutorial for Debian/Ubuntu systems, run the followig commands in a shell terminal:
$ sudo apt-get install git g++ libopencv-dev
$ git clone http://git.ao2.it/experiments/opencv_...
$ cd opencv_trail_effect
$ make
And then copy the commands from the video to test the different effects.
