a three-step video compilation of some farming activities I have spotted during my visit on the North Island.
Bostock Farming New Zealand, harvesting Pumpkin, Squash or Buttercup - whatever it is exactly called near Hastings in the beautiful Hawke's Bay area. Using a, to what I have understood, self build converted JD forage harvester.
Kiwi orchards near Te Puke. This is New Zealands largest Kiwi producing area. When i was there the harvest was still one month away, so unfortunately no footage of the picking.
Maize Silage harvest in the hills near Tokoroa with the crew from Ireland Contracting with there awesome looking JCB 435 special edition wheel loader which carries the All Blacks / Silver Fern livery.
