The Idaho stop law, and why every state should adopt it. The Idaho stop is very simple, cyclists would treat stop signs as yield signs and stop lights as stop signs. This would allow cyclist the ability to move more freely, lower congestion and promote cycling to more people. Any law that helps facilitate a healthier population, affect climate change and lower traffic congestion is a good common sense law, and we as cyclists should be forcing politicians to pass legislation for this law!
