This song seems to belong to Seiran in my view...it could've been written for him!
Originally I intended to use season 1 and 2 footage, but in the end it turned out to be just stuff from Season 1 in this particular amv. Spoilers therefore in this text and the amv for Season 1 of Saiunkoku Monogatari.
Shi Seiran - aka Seian-Koushi or Shou Senpuu - is a really complicated character, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he doesn't know himself who he really "is". Whilst the novels do paint him in a little more colourful detail, there's still plenty of dark vs light in his actions in the anime, and I think it's impossible not to like him, even when he's at his most, "evil". Between Shouka, Seiran and Ensei, Shuurei never seems to realise that she's surrounded by assassins...
