Hazrat Anas ibn Malik (RA) said: When the Prophet Muhammad PBUH would finish his prayer, he would pass his right hand over his head and recite the following dua (supplication):
“In the name of Allah, besides whom there is no deity, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. O' Allah! Remove from me all worry and sorrow.”
[Tabarani, Hayat al-Sahaba]
This prayer is proven through the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH and is highly beneficial when recited during times of anxiety, sorrow and worry.
