After a relaxed breakfast and fresh coffee on board, the decision was easy:
Today is fishing day.

Rods out. Big expectations.
The kids were absolutely sure they would catch the biggest fish for dinner.

When the sun finally broke through the clouds, we undocked and cruised out onto the open lake with our SolarYacht.

We dropped anchor in the middle of the lake, surrounded by calm water and a perfect sunset.

Moments like this remind you why life on the water is different.

Later, as the sun disappeared behind the horizon, we started preparing dinner on board…

And yes - small confession: The fish came from the supermarket.

Because sometimes sustainability meets reality. But the kids had fun anyway. The fish tasted great. And the evening turned into one of those perfect lake nights.

When the stars came out, we switched off the outside lights and turned on the fireplace inside the SolarYacht for a cozy night at anchor.

Sitting on the sofa, watching a YouTube ‪@ybsyoungbloods‬ fishing episode, enjoying the silence of the lake.

Not a bad way to end the day.

This wasn’t just a fishing trip. This was a real SolarYacht family day on the water.
