Описание: Hello, this is Lisa from BookFuel with a quick explanation of ISBN's. An ISBN, or International Standard Book Number identifies a book's territory, publisher and title code. ISBN's are used to identify most books throughout the world. If you are going to be a publisher, then you have to act like one and get ISBN's for your books. Few retailers will even sell books that don't have ISBN's. So make sure that they are a part of your publishing plan. You'll need one ISBN for every format for each of your books. One for Kindle, one for POD, one for ePub, and so on for every book you publish. Many services offer free ISBN's, but those ISBN's usually label someone else as the publisher of record. And if possible you want to make sure that you are listed as the publisher for your books. Depending on where you publish, you can acquire ISBN's through different agencies. In some countries, ISBN's are managed by government agencies. In the U.S. a private company called RR Bauker manages them and you can acquire ISBN's directly from them. For new authors, a block of 10 ISBN's will be most cost effective. But make sure to discuss your options with your BookFuel author consultant.
