AUSTRIA /Pinzgau/ - Places Worth Visiting despite Being Crowded

The Großer Asitz peak itself is rather damaged by tourism but it offers great alpine panoramas towards any direction. The city of Zell am See has an impressive setting by a lake just under the highest mountain group in Austria. Krimmler Wasserfälle are not only the 5th highest waterfall in the world but will also surprise you with the refreshing microclimate that is pleasant to experience in the summer. Last but not least the upper cablecar station at Kitzsteinhorn features a close view of the highest Austrian peak, the Grossglockner 3798m. Well, reading what we just wrote, sounds like some weird commercial :-)

Pinzgau, región v rakúskom Salzburskom kraji má mnoho krásnych lokalít, tu je pár z nich, ktoré sú hojne navštevované, no napriek tomu sa ich oplatí pozrieť. Vrch Großer Asitz je sám o sebe pomerne zničený turizmom, ale zato poskytuje všetkými smermi panoramatické výhľady na Alpy. Mestečko Zell am See má impozantné umiestnenie pri jazere na úpätí najvyšších alpských vrcholov. Krimmlské vodopády nie sú len 5.te najvyššie vodopády na svete ale v lete prekvapia príjemnou mikroklímou. V neposlednom rade pri návšteve vrchnej stanice lanovky na Kitzsteinhorn máte možnosť vidieť zblízka najvyšší vrch Rakúska Grossglockner 3798m. Keď to po sebe čítame, to sme im urobili ale reklamu :-)
