The Federal Department of Justice announced today that they will ban the use of no-knock warrants and chokeholds.
It only applies to federal law enforcement officers and it's also one of the key provisions of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.
Also, the DOJ are going to impose limits on the federal monitors who oversee consent decrees imposed on local police departments and are launching an investigation into conditions in Georgia prisons.
