Urban AI is a powerful GIS web application built with a modern technical stack—FastAPI for high-performance backend processing, JavaScript for dynamic and interactive UI, and Python for advanced spatial analytics—designed to automate end-to-end urban intelligence workflows. The system begins by capturing OSM and geospatial data based on the user-selected Area of Interest (AOI), then processes it through a suite of spatial analyses such as Urban Hotspot detection, Betweenness Centrality, Flow modeling, Route optimization, and Green Area assessment. Once the spatial computation is completed, the backend orchestrates Python analytical models to clean, calculate, and interpret the results, which are then sent to OpenAI for automated narrative generation. Finally, Urban AI produces a complete, structured analysis report, combining maps, metrics, and AI-generated insights to deliver a fully integrated, intelligent urban planning tool.
