Every pass has its own unique characteristics and challenges, but as promised by other hikers, Glen Pass is a total beast with switchbacks that look like itty bitty goat trails. Andy starts coming to terms with the fact that we’re nearing the end of our adventure. Brittany is momentarily stunned by the size of Glen Pass, but quickly realizes how capable she has become. Together we prepare ourselves for two final hurdles: Forester Pass and Mt. Whitney, the highest points on the John Muir Trail.

We’re Brittany and Andy, and in July 2021, we set off on a 200-mile journey that began in Yosemite National Park and ended at the top of Mt.
