Nang marinig ang tugon ni Carlos, pinatay na niya ang cell phone at tinitigan ang bowl na wala ng laman.

"For the first time I eat something that compliments my palete and stomach," nakangiting wika ni Kristofer sa sarili bago tumayo.

Nagtatakang inilayo niya ang cell phone sa tenga. Tiningnan niya iyon na para bang lalabas ang kausap niya anumang sandali, bago ibinalik sa kaniyang tenga.
