Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Sunday (March 8) slammed Iran for betraying the Gulf countries by launching drone and missile attacks and called them "dangerous miscalculations." Abdulrahman Al Thani also stated that he would seek de-escalation with Iran, as the conflict could destabilise the region further. Describing strikes by Iran on Gulf countries as a “dangerous miscalculation," the Qatari PM called for de-escalation of the conflict. "We continue to seek de-escalation," he said. Abdulrahman Al Thani also pointed out that 25 per cent of Iranian attacks were directed towards civilian facilities.
