Описание: Velvet Gloves And Spit, Neil Diamond's third album and first with Uni Records after leaving Bang Records, started to introduce some deeper tracks to the Diamond catalogue. Tracks like Brooklyn Roads introduced Diamond's deep storytelling in his songwriting, but the album was inconsistent with poor cuts such as Knackelflerg and The Pot Smoker's Song. Velvet Gloves And Spit included three low-charting singles in the US; Two-Bit Manchild, Brooklyn Roads and Sunday Sun, with these receiving far more retrospective praise.
