Before I begin doing mods that will alter the power and handling of the car I wanted to show the car off in its stock state. As a vehicle its definitely overlooked in today's car buying market but it really shouldnt be. The Aero is Saabs highest trim , and where they put their best performing motors. The V6 turbo engine in this car produces 280bhp @ 295 lb. Ft. of torque. The interior screams upper middle class luxury of it's time and is definitely something to be considered. Its rivals of the same period would have been the BMW 335i , Audi S4 avant and Mercedes Benz C 300 of the same era. What this car lacks compared to them is its unique factor and charm.

In modern time the Aero package is definitely no slouch ,especially after tuning. The power numbers get up to 400bhp range and similar torque numbers take this wagon to a pure street car that shouldnt be taken lightly.

If you just want a vehicle to go from point a to b , the saab 93 should be considered, especially at its price range. These could be picked up at anywhere from $2500-$9000 and at any price point you are getting a luxury vehicle for your commuting needs. The seats are comfortable, the fuel economy is average 25-29mpg and enough power to pick up and go in emergencies. Even better if you have a wagon , she then makes a great road tripper
