Was Jesus really tempted? Was there actually a moment when He could have chosen something terrible? If He truly is who He says He is, could He really have failed?
We know this about ourselves: we agree with God… and then we go against Him. We do things we know are harmful. We chase what we shouldn’t. We test limits. We say, “God will get me through it,” even when we jumped off the cliff ourselves. If Jesus is fully human, then temptation had to be real. Not staged and not symbolic. Just real.
