Henderland Hill Fort and settlement sits 1.5 miles North East of Blyth Bridge in the Scottish Borders. One of several Hill Forts and Settlements in the area this is by far the most impressive and is easilly accessed by foot.
Measuring 67m from NE to SW by 43m transversely ( 220ft by 140ft) it covers 0.22 hectares.
Of twin ditch in construction and accessed originally by a single entrance in the North West it was later split within and a second entrance added. An additional crescent embankment with additional round houses were added latter on the South Eastern side outside the Fort
