21.8 kilometres Mumbai MMRDA's Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) is a six-lane access-controlled sea bridge under development that will connect Sewri in Mumbai to Chirle in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.

This project has been in the works since the 1990s, and there have been various attempts to build it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the project's foundation stone in December 2016, and work on the three major packages began in April 2018.
MTHL will be India's longest bridge/sea link when it is finished in 2023 by L&T and Tata Projects.
