FISCHERSCOPE® X-RAY measuring instruments are delivered from the factory with a wide range of pre-installed pure element spectra, allowing a wide range of measurement tasks to be solved with high precision. A measurement without further specific calibration is called a standard-free measurement.
However, if there are particularly high demands on the accuracy of the measurements or if the measured values are to be traceable to national standards, your specific measurement task must be calibrated on the instrument with the appropriate standards.
