In this video, we play the Windrose demo and get our first look at this open world survival adventure. We take on the role of a pirate who has washed ashore and begin exploring the first island.
Throughout the episode, we learn the basics of combat, gathering, and building while getting a feel for the survival mechanics. We also set sail and take the boat out into open waters, although the journey takes longer than expected and we end up wrapping the episode while still out at sea.
Windrose is an open world survival game where you explore islands, gather resources, build, fight, and sail across the ocean in search of new lands and opportunities.
This video covers the demo content and serves as a first look at the game’s core systems and early gameplay. If you enjoy survival games like Valheim, this demo has a similar open world exploration and crafting vibe.
