During the Creativity block, after attaining insights on the process of constructing meaning from the cultural, semiotic and story telling perspectives, the students at the Master in Imagineering course are taught about building a high experience concept.
Esteemed industry professional Jan Rijkenberg delivered a lecture in week 4 of the block, bringing his extensive experience with Concepting to the classroom. Jan Rijkenberg is co-founder and partner of BSUR concepting, an international creative consultancy in Amsterdam, specialised in creating worlds for brands. In 1998, Rijkenberg wrote his book "Concepting", advocating a new way of marketing thinking: focussing on distributing a vision of a brand or enterprise, rather than the product itself.
