Ahhh, The Haunting MEP. We made this song famous among amv makers, we did. xD
It began as a collab between me and Celestial, later I thought "well hey this is a long song....lets make it an MEP."

So the long process of MEP making began.

After this, I sort of got burnt out with vidding. We had a lot of member drop outs, and I had some personal issues going on in my life. With it's massive success, I was actually a bit embarrassed and had to stay off of the tube for a long time. (Not that I'm not appreciative of everyone's support...)

Towards the end I didn't even care and rushed it out. It could have waited until Halloween, but I was impatient. A lot of people were bugging me about when it would be out. I guess I let the pressure get to me. =P

I would also like to add that this mep was inspired by the Leading Man Studios first MEP (I don't even think it's up anymore...?) which was the first of it's kind, I sort of used that as a basis for this MEP. (some of you know what I'm talking about! xD That MEP was epic right? yes yes it was! nothing tops the original.)

That all being said: This Mep was definitely ahead of it's time. It was made when YT was still 4:3, so I had to basically teach members how to render in widescreen properly. A lot of them still didn't. Those that didn't I had to fix myself so they looked....not weird. xD (MILKY MIXED ASPECT RATIOS LOL)

This MEP was made when Noctis was still known as "Thunder", "Storm" or "Prince"....and that game is STILL NOT OUT! lmao. I find that hilarious personally.

Being a quality whore I wanted the footage to be of the best quality....and it was infinitely frustrating when someone would send me a pixelated mess. I even went so far as to send some people footage I ripped myself. =P Thats how anal I was about it. lol. I've loosened up a bit since then. xD Sometimes I took out frustrations unfairly on you guys and for that I apologize.

But hey, the vidding community has improved a ton since 2008.
I sometimes dream what it would be like to make another MEP but you know what? Once is enough. That dream has been fulfilled. I have a new dream now. (A secret project xD)
