Children or Robots? - DfE's 2025 Writing Framework

Описание: This weighty document was issued at the end of term in July. It says that:

'This guidance gives simple, practical advice about how to teach writing to pupils in the reception year, key stage 1 and key stage 2.' Which is probably why it is so lengthy. Maybe I have reached the age when it could be simpler?

Please note there will be an update to this framework when the National Curriculum Assessment Review is published later this term.

This video does not intend to summarise the entire document but hilight some worrying omissions, some deliberate, you need to be aware.
